2018 Sauvignon Blanc
This was a cooler year with abundant rain in February, followed by endless days of sunshine that produced bud break in the first and second week of March. The mild temperatures allowed for slow ripening - perhaps the long duration we’ve had in a long time - that helped pave the way for even cluster development, strong yields, complex flavors, high acidity and excellent quality. This wines is concentrated and elegant, with tropical fruit, peach, apricot, pineapple, melon and floral tones. The clean and juicy palate shows complexity, finishing with crisp acidity that balances with the ripe flavors.
