On the nose, ripe apple, pear, and Meyer lemon lead into fresh tropical fruit before settling against the warmth of vanilla and nutmeg baking spice. Medium rich and balanced, the palate jumps with bright acidity from the cooler Carneros climate yet carries the concentrated orchard fruit from old vines.
"Classic" and "perfect" are just two accolades being bestowed of this vintage. Moderate to warm weather throughout the season brought upon near-ideal spring bud break, steady flowering, even fruit set, and a lengthy stretch of warm days and cool and often foggy nights during the summer months achieving an abundant and healthy crop.
