Focused and expressive, this wine starts with a big bouquet of spring flowers, followed by beautiful bright apple, pear, ripe gooseberry and peach flavors. The palate is full-bodied, supple in texture and followed by a long succulent finish.
This vintage started with very frosty spring weather followed by a “March miracle” rain event which saved the vines from the drought. The wet weather helped produce lots of small berries which resulted in lower yields but allowed for great grape structure and more flavor concentration.
